Phoenix names new fund, SMA wholesaler in Florida

David Meyncke formerly with Jennison Dryden joins as investment consultant. Hartford, Conn.-based Phoenix Investment Partners has made former Jennison Dryden wholesaler David Meyncke a regional investment consultant for its business in Florida.

Based in Tampa, Fla, and reporting to David Wadley, Phoenix's national sales director, Meyncke focuses on wholesaling mutual funds and separately managed accounts to sponsor firms in Florida.

"Throughout his career, has demonstrated an ability to partner with financial advisors at national and regional broker dealers and independent planners to bring the right investment products to their clients," says Wadley. "His attention to the needs of financial advisors and their clients matches our commitment to excellence in products and service."

Meyncke was a senior mutual-funds and SMA wholesaler at Prudential Financial 's Jennison Dryden. Previously he worked at MainStay Funds, a unit of New York Life Investment Management.
